Andy Harper
Socio-Economics Manager – Nuclear Decommissioning Authority
Andy is part of the Socio-Economic development team at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and is the organisation’s representative on the Board of the WELL Project. Andy’s role in the NDA involves working with colleagues and community partners across the NDA estate to develop and deliver a programme of grant funding aimed at creating opportunities for economic growth, diversification, and employment in local communities.
His role on the WELL Board is to represent the funder and help to ensure the project delivers for young people in Cumbria.
Prior to joining NDA, Andy worked for 18-years in Cumbria County Council in a variety of Education and Economic Development roles, latterly leading on the identification of infrastructure and service requirements in the communities of West Cumbria.
